Broccoli With Crisp Garlic Slivers
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
1 bunch broccoli
3 Tbsp. Extra-virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp. Garlic, thinly sliced
Pinch hot red pepper flakes
Sea salt to taste
Steam broccoli until tender. Meanwhile, combine oil, garlic and red pepper flakes in a small skillet. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until garlic begins to sizzle and turn golden, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and remove garlic from oil using a slotted spoon. Set aside. Reserve oil.
Transfer cooked broccoli to a serving dish. Sprinkle with salt, drizzle with the garlic-flavoured oil and top with the crisp garlic slices. Serve at once.
