Broccoli and Kale with Raisins and Nuts
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
1/2 cup almonds, lightly toasted
1 bunch Broccoli, chopped
1 bunch Kale, chopped
1/4 cup Raisins
3 Tbsp. Olive oil
7 cloves garlic, minced
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinega
Place almonds in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and stir frequently for 2 to 3 minutes.
Combine oil and garlic in a wok or heavy skillet with lid. Sautee for 1-2 minutes over medium heat. Add broccoli and kale and toss to coat with oil. Add 1/2 cup water and cover to cook until greens are slightly soft. Stir frequently and add more water if needed. Add toasted almonds and raisins and continue to stir-fry for another minute. Add balsamic vinegar and toss. Serve immediately.
